FROM THE FACTORY TO THE GROUP OF COMPANIES

Seltmann Weiden is one of the most renowned porcelain manufacturers in Germany and was founded in 1910 as a porcelain factory Christian Seltmann. With the incorporation of the “Privately Privileged Porcelain Factory Tettau” in 1957 and the acquisition of five Thuringian porcelain factories, Seltmann Weiden developed into a group of companies that is still managed as a family business. The group has more than 200 years of porcelain manufacturing experience.

Today, in 5 factories with about 800 employees, porcelain is produced for the household, hotel, catering and social catering sectors. In the manufactories valuable figures are handcrafted.

The production know-how of the Seltmann Weiden Group is extraordinarily wide and ranges from high-tech production in one of the most modern porcelain factories in Europe to pure, traditional craftsmanship in the factories in Rudolstadt (Thuringia).
